How the Process Works - 5 Simple Steps
- Initial Inquiry
Send us a list of the computers you want to trade in - model, approximate age, and general condition (working / faulty / nature of the issue). You can reach us by email, WhatsApp, or phone.
- Pickup Coordination
We coordinate a time with you to collect the computers from your office, anywhere in Israel. At no cost.
- Professional Lab Inspection
Within 1-2 business days, our team inspects each computer - technical condition, components, functionality, age, and current market value.
- Detailed Quote
You receive a clear quote for each computer individually - not a vague lump sum, but a detailed breakdown you can review.
- Your Choice - Accept or Return
-
- If you accept - the amount is credited to your account with us, and you can use it to purchase any IT equipment - not just the same brand. Want to replace MacBooks with Lenovos? No problem.
- If you decide not to accept - we return the computers to you, with no inspection fee and no shipping cost. Zero risk.
Which Computers Do We Accept?
Apple Computers
- MacBook Air - from Apple Silicon (M1) and up
- MacBook Pro - from Apple Silicon (M1 / M1 Pro / M1 Max) and up
- iMac - Apple Silicon models
- Mac Mini - Apple Silicon models
- Mac Studio - all models
Important note: We do not accept Mac computers with Intel processors. In the Apple world, the distinction is clear - Apple Silicon models (M1 and up) hold real market value, while Intel models (pre-2020) are not economically viable for trade-in.
PC Computers
- Dell - all series (Latitude, XPS, OptiPlex, Precision, Pro, Plus, Essential, Rugged).
- Lenovo - ThinkPad, ThinkCentre, Yoga, Legion
- HP - EliteBook, ProBook, ZBook, Pavilion
- Asus - ZenBook, ExpertBook, VivoBook
- Microsoft Surface
We also accept additional brands - contact us to check.
Computer Condition
- Fully functional - accepted.
- Functional with wear (scratches, minor dents, weak battery, worn keyboard) - accepted.
- Faulty (won't power on, broken screen, damage, or missing parts) - also accepted!
We are among the few companies that accept faulty computers as well - because there's still value to be extracted from them, and because we don't want you to be stuck with electronic waste in your office.
How Much Will You Receive? Real Examples From Our Clients
Trade-in is not a fixed rate - it depends on the model, age, condition, and market demand. Here are three real examples we've handled recently:
Example 1: Design and Advertising Agency - Mistaken Purchase
The situation: 20 MacBook Air M2 computers that were purchased but didn't suit the company's needs. They were sitting in storage.
What would have happened without us: Sent for recycling, or sold privately on Facebook/Yad2 - months of work for each computer.
Our solution: Pickup of everything in one day, a quote within two days, 3,000 NIS per computer.
Total credit to the company: 60,000 NIS - money that was never part of the budget planning.
Example 2: Technology Company - Wrong Specifications for Developers
The situation: The purchase of 3 MacBook Pro M3 computers with 18GB of RAM turned out to be insufficient for developers working with heavy development environments. The computers were completely new.
Our solution: Trade-in on the new computers, 6,000 NIS per computer, and the purchase of new computers with 36GB+ of RAM.
Total credit: 18,000 NIS toward replacing unsuitable specifications with the right ones, without the company losing all its investment.
Example 3: Technology Company - Refresh of a 35-Employee Fleet
The situation: 35 old computers (some faulty) that were due for routine replacement. The company assumed they wouldn't get anything for them.
Our solution: We took them all, including the faulty ones. 2,500 NIS average per computer.
Total credit: 87,500 NIS - which translated into a 25% reduction in the cost of purchasing the new fleet.
An estimate before you receive a quote: We can't commit to a specific number without actually seeing and inspecting the computers. But the trend is clear - even equipment that businesses think is "no longer worth anything" generates significant financial value when approached the right way.
Why Do Trade-In Through ITStore?
Businesses with old computers usually consider one of several options. Let's talk straightforwardly about why each one is problematic, and why our approach solves all the problems at once.
The Classic Options, and Why They're Problematic for Businesses
Private sale on second-hand websites (Yad2, Facebook) Hours of work - photographing each computer, posting separate listings, responding to dozens of curious inquiries, coordinating meetings, and haggling over prices. For a business, this doesn't add up - the work hours invested are worth more than the difference in price.
Local repair shops - focus on laptops and within a limited geographic area.
Sending to recycling - significant financial loss. Even a faulty computer is usually worth a few hundred shekels.
In addition, improperly disposing of electronic equipment is an offense under the Waste Law.
